The main concept of the house is to create a division between the formal and private spaces through defining the main volumes. The floating L shaped volume is where all the private spaces are located and it sits on top of the formal spaces. The juxtaposition of the swimming pool with the cantilevered L shaped volume creates a floating on water effect.
